So its been a couple of days since I have posted an update of our adventures in Montana. Unfortunately I have been sick which has made most of our activities low key and short. More »

Today was a day of rest for our Montana vacation. We started off with a 5am wake up thanks to Hayden and hung out while Dave and Jessica packed up and headed home. We did some shopping and had lunch at a nice mexican restaurant. During this Hayden passed out and didn’t even eat! She slept for a couple of hours and woke up feeling like garbage. So we had to make a quick store run for tylenol, which made her sleep for another hour or so.

I decided to make dinner tonight, my specialty spaghetti per request and during the store run I managed to get a ticket. This is ironic as I was just commenting that I haven’t gotten a ticket in some time. Dinner was good and we finished up the day with a few projects around the cabin. We are now hanging out together planning our next few days and winding down. Its a nice cool evening in Fortine.

Today we went on a horse ride through some mountain trails. We started out a little rough, Hayden had a difficult time

with the idea that she wasnt going on the pony ride. Luckily they ranch had a small pony for her to ride around to help get us going. Our ride started of well and everyone was having fun.

Yesterday we went to a zip line adventure, this was an amazing adventure! We got started in the afternoon, went through a short orientation and got started. The first run was like a bunny hill for everyone to get a chance to experience what it was like. After that we got started right into the fun. The second run was 1300ft long and had an average mph of about 50-60. There were four runs total and it was a blast. Most of us were speed demons trying to go as fast as possible. Our only regret was Hayden wasnt big enough to go. She spent her afternoon with her great-grandparents getting ice cream and playing in the park.

Day 1 in Montana was great. Mainly getting settled, putting everything in service and doing some work on the dirt bike. Hayden and I swapped out fork seals and took a short ride. It was a good day.
